Abstract
The competitiveness model of Micro and Small agro-industrial companies and export crafts is the object of study of this work, for the establishment and development of productive chain strategies, with broad participation of the actors of the ecosystem of the Eastern zone of El Salvador. . The model considers it key to establish mechanisms and instruments that contribute to the strengthening of productive chain strategies within the agricultural and crafts sector, with the potential to develop agro-industrial innovations and export processes within the crafts sector. The analysis evaluated the capabilities that the sectors must possess to provide resources for the incorporation of added values to the primary products that are generated, as well as competitive jobs, achieving advantages through innovation, transfer of knowledge and development of skills. the main agricultural and craft chains in the eastern part of the country. The evaluation of the current characteristics of competitiveness in these sectors identifies the access, capabilities and knowledge that strengthen the value chains and their sources of financing, technological development, training of specialized human resources, on which the mapping of potential financial sources was based. for agricultural innovation and the promotion and development of production chains with greater added value.
