Abstract

Entrepreneurs in the productive sector are very important for the development of the country's economy, therefore, it is necessary to know the elements of their environment, and identify which business and government sectors support them for their sustainable and sustainable development; The objective of the research is to provide proposals for improvement on strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem for the competitiveness of MSMEs, incorporating technological tools and strategies, emphasizing the Eastern zone of El Salvador, considering that there are some differences in the entrepreneurial characteristics and types of entrepreneurship. depending on the area of ​​the country.

Currently, technological innovation becomes a key and necessary instrument for the economic and social development of a country, especially within companies that must incorporate technological tools into their business models in production, marketing, and within its value proposition.

The aim is to analyze the different existing technologies within the context of the 4.0 revolution, emphasizing those that can be adapted with a sustainable strategy, in the context of MSMEs and their application uses, making a comparison with business characteristics, to establish recommendations. and strategic actions, on the technological tools of greatest use and exploitation to increase the competitiveness of companies located in the Eastern zone of El Salvador.
