School bullying is a complex phenomenon with serious consequences for the affected students and the educational environment. This qualitative research comprehensively explores the dynamics of bullying from a socio-ecological perspective, with special attention to children and adolescents in foster homes, who are at greatest risk. The forms of bullying, the associated factors, the psychological and academic consequences are analyzed, and prevention strategies are proposed based on the experiences of caregivers, directors and psychologists. The methodology includes a descriptive exploratory study with qualitative techniques such as focus groups and interviews. The results highlight the influence of the family environment, the need for teacher training, the long-term impact of bullying and the importance of a comprehensive approach with the participation of various actors. It concludes on the need for interdisciplinary and collaborative preventive programs that involve caregivers, teachers and support networks.
